Katelin is a Pooh fanatic, and has been since very early on, but the real start of the craze was a two foot high Pooh that talked when you pushed his tummy given to Katelin on her 7th birthday by her very good friend, Ryo. This was followed on her ninth birthday by a second two foot high Pooh that talked, but said different things, given to her by her grandmother. These two bears have been joined over the years by many Pooh's in many shapes and sizes. Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne, various stories, are currently Katelin's choice anytime she gets a choice. And, during our storytime at the library we read two chapters from the Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
As a sidenote-one of my favorite all-time poems is by Milne-When I was Six- and I am able to recite it from memory, having not actually read it in over thirty + years.
